The M-151 jeep was in U.S. military service from 1962 into the 1990s, ultimately replaced by the HMMWV. This vehicle was also called the MUTT (Military Utility Tactical Truck). Replacing the M38A1, in appearance it was a direct descendant of the World War II Willy’s MB and Ford GPW, a 1/4 ton 4×4 useful for a great many light tactical missions.
