The Shop Equipment, General Purpose Repair, Semitrailer Mounted (SEGPRSM) is a semitrailer mounted machinist van containing tools and equipment for use in maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment from 1st to 4th echelon. It contains a 10 KW MEP-803A generator or can be driven by alternate AC power source. The van requires input power of 208 volt, 3-phase, 60 Hz for operation. It has an air compressor, and capabilities include drilling, welding, grinding, valve grinding, and honing. It can be open-weather or self contained, including a personnel heater. It has expanding canopies, and frames and curtain assemblies so that an enclosed work area may be set up around the semitrailer.
